I'm sure the list can keep going. I need to balance my life. Right now, running 4 nights a week isn't going to work. So I need to either change the time that I'm running OR run less. I have a couple ideas.
1) I can get up early with Joe and exercise with him. There are a lot of benefits -- but 4:40 am is EaRlY!!!
2) I can run on Wed. and Sat. with Joe. -- It's a time we can go together ... but we tend to get busy so I would HAVE to make it a priority.
3) I could try running after school before I pick up Jace. I just have to ask the Gym teacher OR I can run around the school. If I do this -- students will see me ... which either means I'll be embarrassed (not likely) or it will motivate me to keep running so I look good (more likely).
I think I want to shoot for option 3 and run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I'll bring running clothes and start tomorrow. This will leave me with more "free time" in the evenings and weekends. It is tough to run at night because I miss being with my family all day. Period. I enjoy spending time with Jace and Joe and don't want to leave them for an hour to go and run. I feel good about this plan and will stick to it. I'll ask the gym teacher if I can run in her gym if the weather is bad outside. I'll start getting changed at 3:15 and start running by 3:20 -- be done by 3:50 and to the babysitters by 4:10 ish.
