Day 1 "officially"

Wow!

Should I end the post there? 1.75 miles never seemed so long. I was doing pretty well at first! I have upped my walk pace to 4.0 mph. Tonight, my first run was at 6.0 (yes, that's a 10 minute mile) I was able to hold on to it for 2:10. For run #2, I held the 6.0 for 1 min and dropped to 5.5 for the last min. I don't know if I really could have ran that fast for 2 whole minutes or if my brain gave out on me ... either way, I dropped a bit lower. Finally for my last run (I only went 3 times -- I was getting bored. Maybe that's why there is only a repeat 3?!?) I stayed at 5.5. My total time was 25 minutes, total distance: 1.75 miles. Total calories: 210(ish).

I did learn one thing ... 8:30 is a VERY busy time to go work out! I thought it was a bit later so no big deal .... well .... I had to wait in line for a machine! I wish I could run during the day so that I could go outside.

It did make it easier to go tonight knowing that Steph went this morning! I am glad we are doing this together. I hope you enjoy my little entries steph --- I don't write as comical as you do!

And I am jealous that Jeron got to see Steph with white eyelashes and head band ....

With regards to eating ... my major goal this week isn't necessarily to eat WELL, but to eat at HOME. One of my BAD BAD habits is to 1) get fast food on the way to work or 2) get FF on the way home from work or 3) convince Joe that we need to eat out instead of cooking dinner. I spend WAY too much mula on food, and it all goes to my belly. So far so good. I guess it helps to not have any money!! Starting on Saturday, after weight watchers, I am going to go to Pho (fav restaurant. It's my weekly "cleanse" and some place for dinner Friday night I think. If I can control myself and limit it to two nights a week -- that will score a HUGE help!!!
